It’s hard to believe that this 8-time Ironman finisher with two Top 5 places did her first triathlon with no wet suit in the chilly waters of Lake Michigan, rode a mountain bike and ran with whatever gym shoes were in her closet. Since then she has been named a USAT Triathlete of the Year, a 6-time All American, and a 3-time USA Team Member.

In 2006, Heather formed Team 4, a group of women of all ages, backgrounds and athletic ability to raise money for the four cancers that affect women. Heather lost both of her parents to cancer and has seen many others affected by this disease, including a member of Team 4 and Ironman finisher who passed away earlier this year after her third battle with breast cancer. In just four seasons, Heather and TEAM 4 have raised nearly $150,000 the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Heather has been a successful coach for six years to athletes whose goals range from finishing their first sprint triathlon to qualifying for world championship. No matter the distance, Heather tailors each plan according to each client’s goals, needs and life style. Heather believes to get the most of training you eliminate the junk miles and enjoy the journey along the way. Even as a professional Triathlete, Heather’s best Ironman finishes were with a training volume of 20 hours and less.
