To Reflect
37 years ago today I was born, yes it is my birthday, April 13th, 1973! I am not writing this to receive happy birthday wishes but rather to reflect on them and how birthdays can be used to reflect on life!
So in the whole scheme of things, the first birthday wish should go out to our mothers. After all, they are the ones the endured the childbirth process, not just for 9 months but gosh for over 18 years. My mother passed away over 7 years ago, but I still thank her on this day for having me and enduring some of that heart ache especially in my teen age years. My dad too is one special man in my life, not only did he end up raising 3 girls on his own, he was the one that taught me about passion, determination and dedication. My father was our rock! He was the best dad anyone could have wished for!

Next, to reflect on life, ahhhh yes life! To reflect on the people we have meet, to look at the great memories you have had, and to do a recheck on "are you heading in the right direction?" What changes need to be made in your life? Are you where god wants you?
And lastly, to say thank you to each one of my family and friends along my this life journey. There is always good with the bad or at least that is how I look at it verses bad with the good:) and as we all have had bad things happen, I do sit back today and thank god for the life he has given me the good and the bad:). My career, my lifestyle, my health, my Little Lainey (that is my dog she ranks right up there with my family!) and the special individuals that have touched my life. I want to say thank you to all those people for helping me in my life journey, I hope each one of you know how special you really are! I wish each one of you a great day and may you to reflect on things when your special day comes this year:) Cheers
