Jeff Littmann

Five years ago, I used my website to give updates to everyone on Jeff's condition after a terrible accident at Muskego Park.   As he lived to tell about his first accident, I am so sadden by Jeff's passing on Tuesday October 5 due to this time an accident of a car striking Jeff from behind while riding on his bike Friday October 1st.  Jeff helped me in so many ways.  His never quit attitude, his persistence and his unconditional love to everyone around him was so admirable.  My heart is with his wife Kelly and family!  Jeffy, we all miss seeing your smiling face and know your actions spoke louder than words and each one of us are better people because of you!  We miss you....

Jeffrey M. Littmann

Littmann, Jeffrey M. Began his eternal ride on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at the age of 56. Loving husband and best buddy of Kelly James-Littmann. Adored step-father of Casey, Ashley and Michael. Jeff was born on February 15, 1954, to Vivian and the late Jack Littmann. He is the cherished brother of Jack (Lynn) Littmann, Jerry (Mary Ellen) Littmann, and Joni (Terry) Forster. Jeff was a 1972 graduate of Cudahy High School. He attended MATC and the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. Jeff was a longtime employee of Vic Tanny and owner of Wisconsin Health and Fitness. Jeff was a popular friend/advocate in the cycling community. Jeff and Kelly are proud owners of Attitude Sports shop in Pewaukee. Jeff is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many, dear friends. He is an inspiration to all who knew him. The family would like to thank the staff of the SICU unit at Froedert Hospital for their loving care. The family will receive guests on Saturday, October 9, at Nativity of the Lord Parish, 3672 E. Plankinton Ave., Cudahy, from 9AM-12:45 PM. The Memorial Mass will be at 1PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to be made to the family for a future Collegiate Cycling Scholarship in honor of Jeff. Rock & Ride, Jeff!

A poem wrote by my 11 year old niece:

Life is just like a bike....

Wheels always turning and, your heart is yearning for more.
Life is really a bike.
Bumps in the road that your can't control, anymore.

There are journeys to take you and mountains to shake you.
But don't give in.
This is one of those mountains let your hope bust to foundations to cure.

You are one of those guys that you can trust in,
That you can depend on.
And you are brave.

Love, Erika Ziolkowski
